'Tis the season…

Sunday 8th December - 3-6pm - come along to celebrate our 3rd birthday, with live music, Guinness and Jameson specials, free nibbles and a whiskey raffle.

Wednesday 11th December - from 7.30pm - After a year of great stories, whimsy, camaraderie and much whiskey, the storytellers from Tenx9 Melbourne are doing it One Last Time (for this year). So come and hear some brilliant tales.

Thursday 19th December - 6-9pm - Christmas Pudding Fest is back!!! With a pop-up whiskey bar from Wonderland drinks, complimentary tasting of some great whiskies, plus all bottles for sale on the night. Perfect for that last minute Christmas gift.

We’re closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

We’ve got a busy month…

Wednesday 13th November - from 7.30pm - Our storytelling buddies from Tenx9 Melbourne are Playing it Again - a night of musical memories and stories of amazing gigs, tales of nights out dancing, games that have changed your life, and that one song you can't stop playing on the jukebox.

Thursday 21st November - 6.30-8.30pm - Come along to our Pot Still Masterclass and learn all about this unique Irish style of whiskey. Cocktail on arrival and 5 great whiskies, including Red Spot 15YO (not yet available in Australia), plus tasty canapés.

Sunday 24th November - 3-6pm - The Sunday Session is back with live Irish music, and $8 pints of Guinness and $15 Irish Whiskey tasting flights.

Thursday 28th November - from 6.30pm Spirit of Punk is back! That wordslam/reading event that evokes the ethos of punk rock (to have a go and have your voice heard). Come prepared or improvise – any genre, any style – just no longer than a Ramones' song.

Saturday 30th November - 3-8pm - Local Gin legends from Animus Distillery are bringing a pop-up gin bar to Bucks for the afternoon, with special cocktails, gin fights and free gin tastings.

Pot Still Masterclass

Join Brand Ambassador Jonathan Minihan for a guided tasting of five great pot still whiskies, alongside tasty canapés.

Only a century ago, Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey accounted for over 80% of the world's whiskey supply.  

Today, leading distillers are reviving this unique Irish style, made from malted & unmalted barley and triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills.

Come and learn about the history of this award-winning style of whiskey. With a special tasting of Red Spot 15-year old pot still whiskey, not yet available in Australia.

Thursday 17th October - 6.30-8.30pm - Our first ever Gin Masterclass is on! Learn all about the history and styles of this popular spirit, whilst nibbling on some tasty canapés.

Sunday 27th October - 3-6pm - as part of The Darebin Music Festival, this Sunday Session promises to be a big one… with live Irish music, and $8 pints of Guinness and $15 Irish Whiskey tasting flights.

This year, Wonderland Drinks Ambassador, Scott Farrow is bringing us some of the best Irish, Scottish and Canadian Single Malts – from Award winning Hyde Whiskey in Ireland; from Canadian small batch craft distillery Shelter Point; and from Independent Scottish bottlers North Star and the Creative Whiskey Company.
